Man Tries To Set Fire To A Church Cross In Gloucester County

A man tried to set fire to a cross in front of a Catholic church in Gloucester County, authorities said.

Woodbury police are investigating the act of vandalism that took place at St Patrick's/Holy Angels church on Friday, Jan. 13.

A suspect was taken into custody in Camden County, police said.

Other local, county, and federal agencies also are investigating the incident.
